Words cannot express the sadness I feel but I know that you now are at peace and finally without the pain you've endured for so long. Now it's time for you to join your beloved Joe. He's been waiting so long for you. Maybe you could give my Jimmy a hug for me. I will miss you so much my dearest friend for over 55 years. You were my travel buddy, my confidante. Words can't adequately describe the heartache I feel about losing you. We did everything together; you were my shopping buddy and my forbidden food eating buddy. You were also my singing buddy, all the silly songs we made up together and sang down the hall and throughout the house. No one could maneuver a rascal better than you at the store. I am so thankful I got to spend this last summer with you by the pool and watch you take the dogs around the pool in the "sea puppy," as you liked to call it. You can rest easy now mom knowing we are all doing well in our careers, which we attribute to you and dad. The animals and all of us miss you tremendously. The house will be so quiet now without you. I'm going to miss you being there when I get home from work. Make sure you and daddy continue to watch over all of us. This void in my heart will never be filled.
