Charlotte K. Robe, age 72 of Parlin, passed away Thursday September 22, 2016 at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Old Bridge, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Fords on September 16, she grew up in the Hopelawn section of Woodbridge and later moved to the Parlin section of Sayreville where she lived for the past 46 years. Charlotte worked as a secretary for Exxon before becoming a dedicated homemaker and was also a member of the Hungarian Reformed Church in Woodbridge.
Charlotte loved everything purple and enjoyed spending time with her family shopping for the best deals, going out to eat, swimming in her pool, visiting with her grandkids (both human and furry), and watching the Mets. Always an animal-lover, she was devoted to her pets including her dogs, Pumpkin and Patches, cats Munchkin and Henry, fish, and new cockatiel, Joey.
She was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Julia Kantor, and her loving husband Joseph.
Surviving are her four daughters Renee and her husband John Osterbye of Jackson, Darlene of Parlin, Dawn Marie Sandoval of PA, Justine of Parlin, her grandchildren Rebecca, Julissa, Izabel and Giovanni Sandoval, her brother Joseph Kantor, her sister Elaine Lopazanski, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday 9am from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane Parlin, followed by a 10am service at the Hungarian Reformed Church in Woodbridge. Burial will take place at Cloverleaf Memorial Park in Woodbridge.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be Monday from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm.
