Barbara A. Romanowicz Kunz, age 78 of Parlin, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday July 31, 2016 at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Old Bridge, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Newark, she had resided in Sayreville for the past 15 years. Barbara was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and dear friend to many. She was a member of the Sayreville Senior Thursday Club.
Barbara is predeceased by her parents Joseph and Mary Romanowicz, her sister Joanne Gouldner, her brother Charles Romanowicz, and her grandson John Kunz.
Surviving are her loving children Judith Stiegler and her husband Steve, Charles Kunz and his wife Lisa, Cynthia Kunz, Martha Kazakewich, John Kunz, Richard Kunz, Victoria Fagan, Robin Golden and her husband Trey, 18 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and her sister Alice Brych and her husband Ted.
Funeral services will be Wednesday 8pm at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane Parlin.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be Wednesday from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm.
The Sayreville Senior Thursday Club will hold services Wednesday at 2:30pm.
