Elizabeth H. Montenero age 102 passed away Tuesday April 19. 2016, at Roosevelt Care Center, Edison. Born in Staten Island, New York she had resided in South Amboy all of her life.
Elizabeth is predeceased by her loving husband Umberto “Al” Montenero in 2011. Surviving are her son Robert Meyer and his wife Julia of Fords, her grandchildren and their spouses Lynda & Ghassan Sudah, Lori & Michael McGrath and Jean Conneely, 10 great grandchildren Issam, Ramsey, Yousef, Rami, Andrew, Michael, Deidra, James, Daniel and Amanda and her great granddaughter Sophia Elizabeth.
Funeral services will be held Friday 12 noon at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane Parlin with burial to follow at Chestnut Hill Cemetery, East Brunswick. Calling hours at the funeral home will be held Friday from 10am to 12 noon. Letters of condolence, directions and completed arrangements may be found at www.spezzifuneralhome.com
