Obituary for Leon G Biernacki
South River
Leon “Lee” Gregory Biernacki age 25 of South River passed away January 22, 2016 at his home. Born in New Brunswick he was a lifelong borough resident. Mr. Biernacki had attended West Virginia University and was an aspiring comedian.
He is predeceased by his paternal grandparents Leon & Anne Biernacki, his paternal grandfather Gregory Artishenko and his aunt Nadya Cupryk. Surviving are his parents Edward & Vera Artishenko Biernacki, his maternal grandmother Sonia Artishenko of South River, his aunts and uncles Laureen & Alex Varga, Gary Biernacki, Larysa Ligas and Robert Cupryk and his cousins Denise Muller, Allison Strickland and Heather Ligas as well as a host of extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be held Friday 8:30am from the Maliszewski Funeral Home 218 Whitehead Avenue South River followed by a 9am mass at Saint Mary of Ostrabrama R. C. Church in South River with burial to follow at Washington Monumental Cemetery, South River.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be held Thursday from 3pm to 7pm. Letters of condolence, direction and completed arrangements can be found at maliszewskifuneralhome.com
