Maryann L. Howarth age 80 of South River passed away Tuesday October 28, 2014 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge. Born in Jersey City she has resided in South River for the past 30 years. Before her retirement in 1998 she was employed as a school crossing guard for the Borough of South River for 8 years.
She is predeceased by her husband Louis Howarth in 1999, her parents Alfred & Marjorie Fleming and her step daughter Barbara Knoblock. Surviving are her stepchildren Louis J. Howarth, Ronald J. Howarth, Bruce Howarth, Joyce Billerman and Dawn Kotora and 9 step-grandchildren and 9 step-great grandchildren.
A memorial services will be held Sunday from 2pm-4pm at the Maliszewski Funeral Home 218 Whitehead Ave, South River. Private cremation to follow.
