William B. Lehman Jr. age 74 of the Parlin section of Sayreville passed away Saturday September 6, 2014 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy. Born in Sayreville he was a life long borough resident. Before his retirement 4 years ago he was employed as a custodian for Sayreville Board of Education for 10 years, prior to that for Johnson & Johnson in Skillman as a maintenance mechanic and was a U.S. Army veteran.

He is predeceased by his parents William & Mary Lehman. Surviving are his loving wife of 50 years Dorothy Golaszewski Lehman, his children William Lehman III of Wrightstown and Tammy Cordery and her husband Patrick of Old Bridge, his grandchildren Julia Lehman, Patrick Cordery Jr. and Victoria Cordery, and his sisters and their husbands Beverly & Edward Rappleyea of Sayreville and Patricia & Eugene Bohl of Wisconsin.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday 8pm at the Maliszewski Memorial Home 121 Main Street Sayreville with private cremation to follow.

Calling hours at the funeral home will be held Tuesday from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers donations in Williams name be made to Sayreville Emergency Squad P.O. Box 9 Sayreville, New Jersey 08872.
