Spotswood
Allen B. Crowe, age 82 of Spotswood, passed away peacefully on Thursday September 13, 2018 at St. Peter’s Hospital in New Brunswick surrounded by his loving family. Born in Wauwatosa, WI, he was raised in San Francisco, and later moved to NJ, living in South Amboy and most recently Spotswood. He was a graduate from South Amboy High School and before his retirement, was owner and operator of ABC Trucking in Edison. Allen is a proud Marine, having served in the Korean War. He was also a member of the South River local chapters of the Elks, VFW Post 1451, and American Legion Post 214. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Allen is predeceased by his parents Robert Joel & Katherine Crowe and by his brother Eugene Crowe. He is survived by his beloved wife of 36 years Evelyn Crowe (Soto) of Spotswood, and his son and daughter-in-law James & Rachael O’Connor of Spotswood.

Funeral services will be held at 5pm on Sunday at the M.A. Maliszewski Funeral Home, 218 Whitehead Avenue, South River. Calling hours at the funeral home will take place on Sunday from 2pm to 6pm. A private cremation will follow.
