In the late 1940's and early 1950's Nan and I (Bill Subjack) lived next door to each other in South Amboy, NJ, both our homes having been in the family for a half-century. Nan was my senior by a year and we were both barely of school age. We regularly played together as children and both our folks called us "Nanny Goat" and "Billy Goat" - for obvious reasons. We always seemed to be together. Those days were part of a very happy childhood for both of us. Although the years have separated us by hundreds of miles, I treasure the memory of Nan and hope she will save a nearby place for me in heaven so that we can meet again. God Bless, Nanny Goat.
