Frances Eden, age 100, of Spotswood passed away Thursday May 24, 2018 at Reformed Church Home in Old Bridge. Born in Perth Amboy she lived in Parlin for over 50 years before moving to Spotswood and finally Old Bridge. Before her retirement she was a seamstress for many years as well as worked as a nurse’s aid at Marlboro Hospital. Frances was a member of the Sayreville Columbette’s as well as the Our Lady of Victories Rosary Society.

She is predeceased by her husband Woodrow Eden as well as her parents Salvatore & Antonia Bagala and her son Ronald Eden. Surviving are her beloved children and their spouses Kathleen & Jack Gecek, James & Michele Eden, Donna & Michael Sorrentino, and Douglas & Bonnie Eden as well as 9 adored grandchildren, 11 dearly loved great-grandchildren and her sister Nancy Neary.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday 9am from the Maliszewski Memorial Home 121 Main Street Sayreville followed by a 9:30am mass at Our Lady of Victories Church in Sayreville with burial to follow at New Calvary Cemetery, Parlin.

Calling hours at the funeral home will be held Tuesday from 4pm to 8pm. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations in Frances’s name be made to the Sayreville Association for Brian Injured Children 251 Jernee Mill Rd Sayreville, NJ 08872.
