Obituary for Joseph W. "Joe" Bialkowski

Joseph W. “Joe” Bialkowski, age 74 of the Parlin section of Sayreville passed away Thursday April 12, 2018 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Rahway with his loving family at his side. Born and raised in Perth Amboy he had resided in Sayreville for over 40 years. After graduating from Perth Amboy High School, Joe worked for EI DuPont, Parlin in production until his retirement 17 years ago. Mr. Bialkowski was a proud member of ICWUC Local 527 where he served as the Past Secretary and Shop Steward for many years. Joe will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Joseph is predeceased by his parents Joseph & Margaret Bialkowski, his dear son Joseph, Jr., brother Robert, and daughter-in-law Steffie. He is survived by his beloved wife Mary (Forman) Bialkowski of Parlin; his sons Gary of Spotswood and Kenneth of Parlin; his grandson Kevin & his fiancée Laurie O’Connell of Avenel and his granddaughter Melissa; his sisters Loretta Facendo of Hazlet, Sylvia Devine of Whiting, and Roberta & husband John Kolarick of Marlton; as well as many loving cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday 9:45am at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin with entombment to follow at St. Mary’s Mausoleum in South Amboy.

Calling hours at the funeral home will be held Sunday from 1pm to 5pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Joe’s honor to the Shriner Children’s Hospital at either 2900 N. Rocky Point Dr.
