Obituary for Frederick Salamon
Frederick Salamon, age 78 of Sayreville passed away peacefully on Monday, February 19, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born in New Brunswick he was a lifelong Sayreville resident. Before his retirement he was employed by the Roofers Union Local 4 in Parsippany for 45 years. Frederick was an avid crabber, he loved animals and enjoyed gardening.
He is predeceased by his parents Samuel and Viola Gurgal and his sisters Stella Csranko and Lottie Salamon. Surviving are his beloved wife of 48 years, the former Claire Chunco, his son Eric and his wife Julia of San Francisco, CA, his daughter Susan and her fiancé Raymond Doss of Sayreville, his twin brother Theodore Soloman of Sayreville and his niece Marlen Bourgeron.
Funeral services will be held Friday 10am at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin with burial to follow at St. Stanislaus Cemetery in Sayreville.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be Thursday from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm.
