Donald M. "Don" Unkel Sr.
Donald “Don” M. Unkel, Sr., age 85 of Sayreville, peacefully passed away Sunday February 11, 2018 at Jersey Shore Medical Center in Neptune with his loving family at his side. Born and raised in Sayreville, Don was a lifelong resident of the borough where he married and raised a wonderful family. When he wasn’t working, Don was a true family man, spending much of his time attending his daughters’ many dance recitals. He was also a true hunter, fisherman, camper, and loved taking care of his many horses. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Donald is predeceased by his parents Maximillion and Mamie Unkel and his sister Naomi Koenig.
