Parlin
Adela M. Grabowski age 88, of the Parlin section of Sayreville passed away peacefully on Tuesday December 12, 2017 at Hackensack Meridian Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge with her loving family at her side. Born in Jersey City she has resided in Parlin for over 60 years. Before her retirement in 1990 Adela was employed as head teller for Bank of America in New Brunswick and was in the banking industry for over 20 years. Mrs. Grabowski was a communicant of Sacred Heart R. C. Church in South Amboy.
She is predeceased by her parents Richard & Helen Hopper and her sister Barbara Napoleone. Surviving are her husband of 70 years John J. Grabowski her daughter Ann Grabowski of Sayreville and her sister Anna H. Hopper of Sayreville.
Funeral services will be held Monday, December 18, 2017, 8:30am from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane Parlin followed by a 9am mass at Sacred Heart R. C. Church in South Amboy with burial to follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Parlin.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be held Sunday from 2pm to 5pm. Donations in Adela’s name can be made to Deborah Heart & Lung Center, 200 Trenton Road Browns Mills, N.J. 08015.
