Obituary for Clifford Fredericks

Clifford Fredericks
Old Bridge

Clifford Fredericks, age 89, of Parlin passed away peacefully on Tuesday October 24, 2017 at home surrounded by his loving family. He had lived in the Madison Park section of Old Bridge for over 60 years.

Clifford served as a Corporal in the Korean War from 1951 to 1953. He worked for Gross & Hecht Company delivering to A&P grocery stores for 54 years. He retired at 70 and we were worried he would be bored. No chance of that with his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren to fill his days.

Clifford is pre-deceased by his wife Helen, his sisters Virginia Seckman and Eunice Greeley. His brothers Richard, Donald and Glenn. He is survived by his brother Paul and wife Margaret, sisters Claire Gabel, Barbara Chritclly, and husband Jim, Gail Higgins and Audrey Motusesky.

He is also survived by his children, Kathy Rosato, Wayne, Joanne and husband Harold Crowther, Paul and wife Catherine, Janet and husband Robert Connolly, and Patricia Maxwell and Billy Bly.

He was the best Pop and G-pop to his 17 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.

Clifford was always quick with a joke and a smile. He had many stories, saying, and songs that all who loved him can recite verbatim.
As Clifford would always say “see you around like a donut” and “make like a tree and leave” and now he has “we love you”

Funeral services will take place Monday 8:45am from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin with a 9:30am mass at St. Bernadette’s Church Parlin followed by a burial at Shoreland Memorial Gardens in Hazlet, NJ.

Calling hours at the funeral home will be Sunday from 1pm to 4pm. Letters of condolence to the family, completed arrangements and directions may be found by visiting www.spezzifuneralhome.com.
