Frank Grabowski, age 87 of Sayreville, passed away peacefully Thursday September 21, 2017 at the Venetian Care Center in South Amboy, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Sayreville, he was a lifelong borough resident. Frank was a US Navy Veteran and a member of the VFW Post 4699 in Sayreville. Frank worked for over 30 years for Hercules Inc. retiring in 1989, where he was a member and past president of the 25 year club. He also worked as a bartender in his family business The Red Top. Frank was a member of the Sayreville Knights of Columbus Council 2061 and a member and past president St. Joseph’s Society #20. He was a communicant of St. Stanislaus Kostka RC Church in Sayreville and was a member of their Holy Name Society.
He is predeceased by his parents Stanley and Anna, his brother Edward and his sister Mary Lagoda Mutilitus.
Surviving are his wife of 59 years, the former Mary Ann Malinowski, his children Donna and Carl Brodzinski, Denise & Martin Biancamano, Stanley, his grandchildren Corey, Justin and Rachel, his sister Caroline Kuberski, his favorite brother in law and sister in law Earl and Sue Smith, his nieces MaryLou, Charlene, Alexis, and Kim Ann.
Funeral services will be Tuesday 10:30am from the Maliszewski Memorial Home 121 Main St. Sayreville with an 11am mass to follow at St. Stanislaus Kostka RC Church in Sayreville. Burial will take place at St. Stan’s Cemetery in Sayreville.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be Monday from 5pm to 8pm.
