Obituary for James Krajewski

James Krajewski
James L. Krajewski (Maynard), a retired machinist/mechanic of Lake Parsippany, born in Newark and lived 55 years in West Orange.

James is survived by his wife, Judy Krajewski, his children, Daniel Krajewski, Steven Krajewski, and Casey Maass; his siblings Diane Ryan of West Orange and Michael Krajewski of Louisville, CO, his grandchildren Kyle, Arianna, Madison, Gabriel, Devin, Isabella, Ella, Kevin, William, Charlie; and many loving nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by parents Casimer Krajewski and Elizabeth Ominski Krajewksi and brother Gary Krajewski.

James was a unique soul who touched so many with his music and irreplaceable perspective. He loved to tell stories and spend time with his family and friends. When he wasn’t tinkering with projects and fixing things, he was out singing in his favorite spots in both Parsippany and Ormond Beach, Florida. He loved his wife and family, always getting into impromptu guitar jams both publically and privately with his children and bandmates. Fishing with his grandchildren also brought some of his greatest joys. James did what he wanted in life, and he wasn’t afraid to speak his mind, even if it almost got him into brawls at local biker bars. He will be deeply missed by his many friends, family and all who knew him.

I was standing by my window,
On one cold and cloudy day
When I saw that hearse come rolling
For to carry my love ones away

Will the circle be unbroken
By and by, lord, by and by
There’s a better home a-waiting
In the sky, lord, in the sky
-Johnny Cash
