Obituary for Paul J. Horvath Jr.

Paul Horvath Jr., age 78 of Parlin, passed away Friday May 12th peacefully in his home. Born on Staten Island New York, Paul was a Navy Veteran who would later become an inspector for Con Edison until his retirement in 1998. Paul belonged to the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Union #3. He was an avid Cleveland Browns and Baltimore Orioles fan who had a love of gardening. Above all else Paul was a dedicated grandfather who would attend all of his grandchildren’s sporting and school events.

Paul is predeceased by his loving wife of 53 years Judith, his parents Paul Sr. and Mary Horvath, and his brother Brian Horvath. Surviving are his daughters Charlyn Horvath, Krystin with her husband Michael Zsorey and Kerry Horvath with her fiancé Frank Nebus. Also surviving is his sister Janet Gregory and his Grandchildren, Ryan, Devan and Megan Zsorey.

Funeral services will be 5pm on Tuesday at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin; followed by a private cremation.
