Mount Joy
Mary Jay, age 70 of Mount Joy, Pennsylvania, passed away Tuesday March 9, 2017 at her home with her loving family by her side. Born on a farm in Stoneville, North Carolina, she had resided in New Jersey before moving to Pennsylvania.

Mary is survived by her spouse Joseph, her daughters and their spouses, Olivia and Michael Bostian and Janet Chow and Scott Pratt, her step children, David Jay, Joanne Gainey and Susan Faircloth, her grandsons, Atticus and Holden Pratt, and many other loving friends and family members. Mary was a former K-3 school teacher and will be remembered for her love of going to the flea market, her doll collection, and most of all her love for helping others.

Calling hours at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin, NJ are Friday from 10am to 12pm. Services at the funeral home will take place Friday at 11am with burial to follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Parlin. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary’s name to Ann B. Barshinger Cancer Institute, 2102 Harrisburg Pike, Lancaster, PA 17604.
