Obituary for Lajos Zubaly

Lajos  Zubaly
Lajos Zubaly, age 83 of South River passed away Saturday, April 29th 2017 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. He was born in Kisvarda, Hungary and has lived in South River for the past 47 years. Before his retirement was employed as an Assembly Line Worker for Ford Motor Company in Edison for 26 years. Lajos was a member of the Hungarian Clubs of Woodbridge and New Brunswick. He enjoyed fishing as a hobby and spending time with his family.

He is predeceased by his parents Lajos and Elizabeth Zubaly, his children Frank Zubaly, Frank Fodor, Ethel Fodor, William Fodor, his grandson Nicholas and 2 sisters and 1 brother. Surviving are his wife of 38 years, Ethel Zsebo Fodor Zubaly, his children Louis Zubaly, Elizabeth Wood, Barbara Dunlap, Jimmy Fodor and his wife Felicia and Zoltan Fodor, his grandchildren Kyle, Adam, Erika, Sheena, Ashley, Kerri, Kristopher, Michael and his wife Fotine, James and his wife Ricki, Daniel and his wife Jessica, Raymond, Bryan, Liam, Bridget and her husband Nick and Zechariah, and his great-grandchildren Addison, Leland, James II, Dezirae, Olivia, Oliver, Kylah, Michael Jr., Isabella and Nicholas Jr.

Calling hours will be held Friday from 4pm to 8pm at the Maliszewski Funeral Home, 218 Whitehead Ave., South River with a prayer service at 6pm. A private cremation will follow.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Lajos’ name to Conklin United Methodist Church, 82 Main St, South River, NJ 08882.
