Sayreville
Mary T. Unkel age 96 of Sayreville passed away Tuesday October 8, 2013 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy. Born in South River she has resided in Sayreville since 1956. Before her retirement she was employed as a seamstress by R & P Wash Suit in South River , was a member of the Sayreville American Legion Post 211 Ladies Auxiliary and a communicant of Our Lady of Victories R. C. Church in Sayreville.

She is predeceased by her husband Rudolph T. Unkel in 1996, her parents Joseph & Antoinette Fafara, and her siblings Anna B. Fafara, Ella Gutowski, Joseph Fafara, Edwin Fafara and Terry Marusiak. Surviving are her son Gerald R. Unkel and his wife Dorothy of East Windsor, her grandson Cory Unkel and his wife Carrie, her great grandchildren Canyon and Gavin Unkel, her brothers John Fafara of South River and Leon Fafara and his wife Peggy of Viera, Florida.

Funeral services will be held Monday 9am followed by a 9:30am mass at Our Lady of Victories R. C. Church with burial to follow at New Calvary Cemetery, Parlin.
