Iselin
Helen Macchia Ianniello, age 98 of Iselin, passed away Monday March 19th 2012 at Care One in East Brunswick. Born in Brooklyn, she had lived most her life in Richmond Hill NY, moving to Iselin 6 years ago. Before her retirement, Mrs. Ianniello was a seamstress for many years and a member of the ILGWU. She was also a member of the Catholic War Veterans Ladies Auxiliary, Mary Gate of Heaven Senior Group and Holy Child Senior Group all in NY.
She is predeceased by her husband Samuel in 1989.
Surviving are her son Robert and his wife Karen of Parlin and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral services will be Friday 9am from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane with a 9:30am mass to follow at Sacred Heart RC Church in South Amboy. Burial will take place at Maple Grove Cemetery in Kew Gardens, NY.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be Thursday from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm.
