South River
Angela “Angie” Prus Quinn age 94 of South River passed away Friday October 7th 2011 at Roosevelt Care Center, Edison. Born in Sayreville she has resided in South River since 1922. Mrs. Quinn was a communicant of Saint Stephens R. C. Church in South River and a former member of the Corpus Christi Rosary Society.

She is predeceased by her husband John J. Quinn, former captain of the South River Police Department who died in 1967, her brothers Michael, Stanley, John and Frank Prus and her sisters Ann Skwiak, Louise Bastkowski and Frances Stashkevitch. Surviving are her daughter Jacquelyn Q. Smiglesky and her husband Walter, her granddaughter Deborah Piscitelli and her husband Allan and her great granddaughter Francesca Piscitelli.

Funeral services will be held Monday 8:30am from the Maliszewski Funeral Home 218 Whitehead Avenue South River followed by a 9am mass at Saint Stephens R. C. Church in South River with burial to follow at Washington Monumental Cemetery, South River.

Calling hours at the funeral home will be Sunday from 3pm to 7pm.
